Did you know that…
- among the 20 million refugees in the world, half are children. Every day 5000 children refugees can be added to this number |
- children can be forced to become soldiers, or they volunteer to join the army for food and protection? |
- every year, between 8000 and 10 000 are killed or handicapped because of antipersonnel unexploded mines? |
- even when a conflict has ended, children suffer from depressions and nightmares? They refuse to play or go to school |
